! I'll tell you more about the foldable tote bag with Big bag!
Among the many things that you are going to learn with this pattern of the Big bag I want to highlight the making of the zippers. This project has three. The first is the opening of the bag. In this one, you'll learn how to sew a zipper with perfectly straight corners, nothing about them being inward-facing and weird. The second zipper is the one on the pocket. An outer pocket that is very easy to sew and that will be very useful. And the third is the case. In this one, you will learn how to sew a curved zipper. Here you will have to go more slowly in the corners but once you do one the next ones will be a piece of cake.
Everything you learn in a pattern are techniques that you will accumulate in your sewing knowledge and that you can apply in any of your future projects. This knowledge will give you free rein to customize any garment or accessory to your liking. In this pattern I have put an outer pocket with zipper but you can put pockets of another type such as a belows pocket,a pocket with double flap or a single inside pocket.

What do you need?
- What am i downloading? (see more).
- For this model I have used a striped canvas for the case and a thin waterproof fabric for the inner bag. For the case, use fabrics with body or you can interlining one that is not so thick.
- The amount of fabric I suggest for this pattern is indicated in the instructions.
- Normal sewing tools (tape measure, scissors, pins, paper...).
