On many occasions it happens that after having made a pattern, new ideas arise to add to the model without having to rectify the original pattern. It is simply incorporating new elements that add value to the pattern.
In our pattern for the Tote Bag, we wanted to add a tailored pocket with a double flap on the inside, specifically in the visible part to make it more comfortable to have what we use most frequently at hand.
In the download patterns the extra pieces to make the pocket do not appear, but in the video I indicate the measurements of the pieces for the bottom of the pocket and for the flaps.
This tutorial is generic, it will be useful for any other pattern to which you want to add this type of pocket, be it pants, a jacket, a skirt or dress, or any bag you have.
